It seems Reebok have upped their game once again with the new Reebok CrossFit Nano 6.0’s. Unlike other companies where they redesign the whole shoe, focusing too heavily on a new product, Reebok have simply kept what they know works well in crossfit shoes and implemented some valuable additions, focusing heavily on longer durability while maintaining a level of comfort which are crucial in those all too familiar brutal workouts.
One such addition is the Kevlar fiber and Rope-Pro+ exterior material which have been added for increased grip and wear protection for during rope climbs. Kevlar, which historically is know for it’s anti-ballistic and stab protection body armour has been delving into the more ‘rigorous’ sports over the last few years. Their trademark protection and durability has become extremely valuable in Reebok’s crossfit shoes in the highly abrasive areas experienced during a workout. Top this off with a raised outer sole lug patterns for better surface area and a 3mm heel drop platform for increased stability during those brutal WOD’s and it seems the Reebok CrossFit Nano 6.0’s may take the cake when it comes to durabiltiy and stabiltiy in the market.
The design and fit also seems to be more anatomically secure compared to the old Nano 5.0 crossfit shoes with a slightly narrower front however this hasn’t sacrificed comfort in the toe area and there’s no need to break them in like the previous model, meaning you can perform at your best without sacrificing those initial workouts. Overall they’re very comfortable and can see myself putting them through some serious sessions without having to worry too much.
The one concern I seem to have with the Reebok CrossFit Nano 6.0’s is that there is none! Reebok really have created an amazing pair of crossfit shoes. They still look amazing and are very discernible as a pair of Nano’s and have reduced the amount of branding that were on the previous pair which was slightly annoying and took away from the visual appeal slightly. They are durable and stable, the Kevlar fiber and Rope-Pro+ exterior material adds a unique cosmetic appeal to the arch area. The raised outer sole lug patterns for better surface coverage and 3mm heel drop increasing stability all combine and work together to make a very good looking pair of crossfit shoes at an extremely affordable price. You can currently purchase a pair of Reebok CrossFit Nano 6.0’s for around $99.99 to $129.99 USD at most sporting stores and online.
